    Description

    LOT of 35 RARE Vintage 2-3/4" Slip On Pin Drapery Curtain Hooks with a 1" Hook from the top. From what I can find online, these are
    drapery hooks for pleating headers on traverse curtain rods. They have a unique feature that makes them something of a rarity. They have a sharp point on one end, like a standard pin-on drapery hook, which then locks in place in a way quite similar to a safety pin. It's clever, not sure of the exact application, but it is interesting. The length is between 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" depending on where you stop measuring because, again, these are a bit unique.
    These need to be cleaned. The photos make them look shinier than they are, which isn't to say they are particularly bad, but photos tend to capture the parts that reflect more. So I'm being as honest as I can be, they need a good cleaning. I did lightly go over them with steel wool, but I'm not detail cleaning these.
