Item Description:
This auction is for an old vintage well used racing jacket and pants. The back of the jacket is marked Harley Davidson Race Team of Hampton Roads. The sleeves are marked Cox. The front has the name Chad. The tag on the jacket is marked Lou's Leathers Made in the USA. The pants are marked Hampton Roads HD on one leg and Southside HD on the other leg.
The jacket and pants show heavy wear from use and are pretty dingy. The jacket has a couple of scuffs in the leather and there are a couple of small cuts as well. The inside flap that is behind the zipper has some damage near the bottom section (see picture 4). The elastic strip that is in the waist of the pants is stretched. The zippers that I have tried do work but a couple were stiff. I have not tried to use the zipper that attaches the jacket to the pants.
There are no size tags in the pants or jacket. These look pretty small and would probably only be good for display as they are very worn and the leather is pretty stiff. The pants measure about 40" long to the zipper around the waist. The waist measures about 15.5" across when laid flat. The jacket measures 20" tall down the back from the neck to the bottom edge. Shoulder to shoulder seam is about 17.5" wide. Sleeve length is about 22" from cuff to shoulder seam. The waist of the jacket measures about 16.5" when laid flat measured across the very bottom.
