Accucraft Rio Grand Southern Galloping Goose #7 in BLACK-original boxes-AC78-135

This is a beautifully detailed scale model of the Accucraft Rio Grand Southern Galloping Goose No. 7 in Black AC78-135. It is exceptionally rare-I have never seen another one in BLACK.  The details
are
carried out exceptionally well.  I spend a lot of weekend out at the Colorado RR Museum, where most of the Geese "live" and all of the accucraft models offer exceptional fidelity to the detail or the originals. This one has the Goose "waddle" on my home track, although my home is LGB and these models ARE NOT designed for LGB, particuarlhy LGB switches.
Modeled after the 1930s RGS Geese with Pierce-Arrow automobile parts that could carry passengers, freight and mail with a one man crew. This is from a "collector's" collection still in the original boxes and styrofoam packing-only removed for the pictures. Like New-Excellent condition and never run. Operating lights tested good. Paint is excellent-no chips no scratches. There are a few marks around the hole that holds the two pieces together from putting the post in the hole (see picture). Windows are in a small bag, glue has dried out, along with another chain. See pictures as part of condition. The boxes do show some wear from storage. Also note the red spot on the connecting wire - it is not correct.
These models do not come with sound but they are sound ready: note the round hole just forward of the trucks on the cargo section. In operation, the cargo section sits over the rear of the powered unit on a long stud.
